Adult Services

With an emphasis on individuality, the Tri-County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (TCCADA) tailors services to meet the unique needs of each client it serves.

Our Adult Services are designed with the client in mind. Clients work alongside counselors to discover the issues that are causing concern and discomfort and begin the process of developing a plan to resolve those issues.

Adolescent Outpatient Services

Adolescence is a time of transition between childhood and adulthood. Also, during this time adolescents cultivate their sense of self. They may face difficult choices about substance use, academics, friendships, sexuality, and gender identity. Our outpatient services are designed to address these everyday adolescent struggles.

Adolescent Inpatient Services

Believing that all adolescents, not just those with private insurance, should have access to high quality treatment at affordable prices, the McCord Facility offers a 24-hour structured regime of medical and clinical services to adolescents with presenting alcohol and/or other drug problems.

ADSAP (DUI)

Individuals arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) in South Carolina must participate and successfully complete this intervention and treatment program to regain their privilege to drive again in the state of South Carolina.

This program is psycho-educational in nature and designed to lower the risks of operating a vehicle while under the influence of substances.

Special Considerations – TCCADA offers programming to accommodate the specific needs of individuals with the following considerations: intravenous (IV) drug use, co-occurring substance use and mental health issues, HIV/AIDS, criminal justice involvement, and members of the LGBTQ community.

Medication Assisted Treatment

TCCADA embraces a behavioral health treatment model, where all patients engage in group and/or individual therapy, with intensity varying based upon an individual’s assessment. Some clients may benefit from medication-assisted treatment (MAT). For patients accepted into the MAT Program, medications such as Suboxone, Subutex, other buprenorphine medications, or Vivitrol may be prescribed as part of your treatment plan of care.
