About Us
The Tri-County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (TCCADA) serves the behavioral health needs of the citizens of Bamberg, Orangeburg and Calhoun counties of South Carolina.We offer a wide array of prevention, intervention and treatment programs in locations convenient to residents of our counties.
Located in Orangeburg, South Carolina, the William J. McCord Adolescent Treatment Facility, owned and operated by the TCCADA, is a licensed psychiatric hospital specializing in substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders for adolescents.
With a dedicated, highly trained staff and innovative programs and services, TCCADA takes a proactive approach to fighting substance misuse in our schools, businesses and community. We tailor our programs to meet the ever-changing needs of the communities we serve. Our prevention, intervention and treatment programs spread the message that there is hope and that substance misuse and addiction are preventable and treatable.
TCCADA is a non-profit agency. We are also one of the county alcohol and drug abuse authorities recognized by the state of South Carolina under the Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS).
We Have Purpose.
The TCCADA is an office of health, information and services for behavioral health issues. We seek to maximize individual health through education, community outreach and service provision for the citizens of Orangeburg, Bamberg, and Calhoun counties.
